In April, Valley District provided a tour for Krystian Lahage from Senator Dianne Feinstein’s office. The tour included a view of the entire San Bernardino Valley from the top of Seven Oaks Dam and a site walk of the future Santa Ana River Enhanced Recharge Phase 1B Project, which will capture and store stormwater in the local groundwater basins. Having the opportunity to show the District’s projects and facilities firsthand helps ensure local projects get the attention they need when federal funding opportunities become available.
